About Us	Augsburg Re is a Reinsurance Underwriting Agency. The company was legally formed in November 2002 and began underwriting on behalf of BRIT, Lloyd´s Syndicate 2987 on December 17th 2002. We currently write business on behalf of Lloyd's Syndicate 2987 and Brit Insurance Ltd.
	Our Business	We specialise in non-proportional aviation reinsurance business. Our focus is on business referred to by the Aviation Reinsurance market as "Generals". These are excess of loss protections purchased by Airline and Product Manufacturer Insurers. We also underwrite Aviation retrocessional reinsurance. We are market leaders in our targeted business sectors and can offer significant line size. We work with all Brokers in the International Reinsurance Market. Our Clients are located worldwide and are among the biggest and most influential in the aviation insurance industry.
